• Transferred from local homeless shelter
• Complained of malaise and sleepiness the night before; difficult to rouse
• Non-verbal (almost)
• GCS: 15
• Pupils: 3mm bilateral and reactive [PEARL = pupils equal and reactive to light]
• Temp: 37.4 degrees Celsius
  • Resp rate: 40 breaths/min
• BP: 89/65 mmHg
• HR: 97 bpm
• Sats: 90% upon LAS arrival; after 2L oxygen = 94%
• Moaning, confused, mild wheeze, distended abdomen
• BG: 4.2mmol/L; glucogel administered
• 500ml of fluid administered, which brought SBP to 105 mmHg
• 1 cannula in right AVF (arteriovenous fistula)
